It lifted near Ackerly 20 miles north of Big Spring damaging six homes two cotton gins a store a school and a church. Two injured were in critical condition Lila Catherine Winters 16 and L. C. Foreman 69. A Boy Scout hut was destroyed and a country church moved from its foundations. EL DORADO Okla May 11 A separate tornado struck six miles southwest of El Dorado injuring one and damaging crops and property. Henry Curry 65 injured when his house collapsed all power lines were blown down plunging the city into darkness.
