Missoula Auto Salesman Dies In U S 93 Crash
Frank G. Martin a 28 year old Missoula auto salesman was killed when his car overturned about one mile north of Arlee on U S 93 in Lake county. He had been in the Flathead Valley on business and was returning to Missoula. He was born May 14 1926 in Philadelphia and survived by his widow his parents a brother and a sister. He was Montana's 66th auto fatality for 1955 compared with 58 the year before.

Polson Family Fire Claims Boy as Parents Hurt
A 14 year old Polson boy, Jimmy McClure, died from burns after a blaze that destroyed a four room home. Parents Roy 42 and Lois 31 and younger brother Roger 9 were in serious condition. two other children Patrick 7 and Sharon 4 were released from hospital. Fire Chief Brown cited possible heater explosion and noted the parents were burned while trying to rescue the children. Neighbor Carlton Boettcher reported the roof on fire and alarm was sounded. The blaze occurred about 6:30 am and left the interior a bird cage according to Brown. Mrs McClure remained in serious condition Tuesday night.
