In Passaic New Jersey on May 10 the Kasper quadruplets one girl and three boys began their second day in life at St Marys hospital in incubators after premature birth weighing a total just over 13 pounds. The mother Mrs Emil Kasper of Little Ferry is reported doing well. Doctors note one boy is less strong but all cry lustily and receive nourishment with whiskey water while not yet on a regular diet.

Butte High students prepare essays on "Tourist Treatment" to explain why visitors are drawn to the city.

Wauchope ordered his physician to attend the former conqueror Lion of Judah amid reports of gas poisoning and gas burns treated in Addis Ababa two weeks earlier.
Harry Campbell a Barker Karpis gangster endures 85 hours in leg irons at the FBI office in St Paul as agents led by Clinton W. Stein press him for names of aiding figures tied to Alvin Karpis. Karpis faces indictment in the Bremer and Hamm kidnappings. Campbell faces charge in Bremer abduction.
Montana School of Mines seniors embark on a educational tour ending with June graduation. Twenty two seniors led by Dr. F A Thomson leave Butte for Alaska to inspect mines and tour sights along a 4000 mile itinerary via Tacoma Seattle and Juneau. They return May 27 for early June ceremonies and job searches in a field with no unemployed graduates.
Mothers welcomed a boy and two girls yesterday in and near Butte. A girl born to Mr and Mrs Charles Vincent at 903 West Copper Street, a boy born to Mr and Mrs William Hong at Eight Mile, and a girl born to Mr and Mrs Richard Donovan at St James Hospital, 612 West Silver Street.
A. D. Watson of 532 West Broadway left by plane to reach his 6 year old son Robert, injured in a Salt Lake City traffic crash. Robert, who has a fractured skull, was reported improving by doctors attending him.
Fair Monday and Tuesday in Montana with little change in temperature. Highs stay moderate and nights remain cool as a dry air mass holds over the region. No precipitation expected and winds remain light across most counties.
William Mahan told Tacoma officers his closest escape happened in Butte, Montana, during the Weyerhaeuser kidnapping case. Butte police officer James E. Mooney, who chased the kidnapper, recalls sighting the man last June before his capture in San Francisco. Mooney remains paralyzed in both arms after Christmas Day shootings by William Knight.

Frank Gubbins the county coroner and his wife were severely burned when a fire destroyed their duplex at 400 Oak Street and the nearby home of William R Staton at 402 Oak Street. Both couples were in critical condition at St Ann's hospital.
The Associated Press reports at least 68 deaths from traffic and other accidents during the weekend coinciding with a government census to map accidental fatalities. Illinois led with 11 deaths, followed by eight in Indiana and seven in North Carolina. The Census Bureau announced weekly accident analyses to track progress for the accident prevention conference.
In Silver Bow county the Republican and Democratic parties meet at the courthouse to select delegates for the state convention on May 19 in Helena. Each party gathers in its judge’s courtroom to choose precinct committeemen and committeewomen from 63 precincts, with 126 eligible participants.
