A Hero's Welcome for Brant Bristol in Butte Firefight
Capt Brant Bristol of the Butte Silver Bow Fire Department was seriously injured when a roof collapsed during a blaze at 1621 Yale Ave. He suffered a C5 and C6 fracture and dislocation, was airlifted to Missoula for surgery, and received a hero's welcome back in Butte with family and fellow firefighters in the rain.

Man who burned himself to death identified as Jason Long
The 39 year old Billings man who set himself on fire in a west Billings dirt lane on April 30 was Jason Long. He loved his mother and frequently called to say I love you. He had recently visited North Carolina for Christmas and asked his mother to cook meat loaf.

Matthew David Read, 19, of Dexter Michigan, who went missing Friday while hiking the Huckleberry Lookout Trail in Glacier National Park, was found alive Monday after ground searches and aerial help from Two Bear Air Rescue.
