Monarch Girl, 5, Dies in Car Horse Collision

A five year old Monarch girl, Mary Anne Croft, was killed when the family car struck a horse on U S Highway 89 near Monarch at 2 30 a m. Her parents were injured and underwent surgery at a Great Falls hospital. The car rolled over five times and an inquest is expected. The death marks the 54th highway fatality in Montana this year.

Dulles Weakened by Pneumonia at Walter Reed

John Foster Dulles 71, former secretary of state, grew weaker after a mild pneumonia attack at Walter Reed Army Hospital where he has been a patient since February 12. The State Department said his temperature is normal but he remains weak and antibiotics have shown a satisfactory initial response.

Gas tanker crash kills three in Abbeville trailer blaze

A gasoline tanker overturned on Highway 12 near Abbeville Louisiana spilling 6,500 gallons of fuel. The resulting explosion destroyed three trailers and a nearby house. Three occupants of a trailer home died Mrs Dick Hancock about 50 Elizabeth 19 and her seven year old grandson.

Two Miami University Students Shot to Death in Dormitory
