Herman Brandenburger about 72 died suddenly Tuesday afternoon on a train near Northfield Minnesota. He lived at 501 West Granite Butte was former Gordon's Jewelry manager and an architect who helped build Montana schools. A World War I Army veteran of Jewish faith, he belonged to Congregation Adath Israel. White's Funeral Home will announce last rites. survivors include his widow Rose and son Gordon.

Education Director G R Friedberg Resigns from Montana Prison
G R Friedberg the Montana State Prison education and vocational training chief has resigned effective Monday after nearly three years. He started the prison education program and oversaw graduations including five eighth grade, four high school, and two high school equivalency certificates.
