Warm Springs man shoots ex wife and himself near hospital
A 46 year old Warm Springs man shot his ex wife Rose Penland outside a state hospital in Anaconda then wounded himself in the leg. Rose Penland was treated at St. Ann Hospital and the man was also hospitalized after the 11 pm incident. Police said the shooting occurred as the couple spoke outside the hospital building and they are investigating whether the self-inflicted wound was accidental.
