Montana Woman Fatally Hurt in Auto Accident
A Sweetgrass woman, Virginia Thompson age 27, was killed Friday night on highway 91 two miles south of Sweetgrass when her car was rear ended while she wiped the windshield. Five children in the car were not seriously injured. The May total rises to 69 highway deaths for 1953, up from 45 in 1952.

Needed Wife But Fails to Get One

Three Americans Feared Dead After Calcutta Airliner Crash
An Air India style jet with three Americans aboard plus rubber-tin operators from Malaya crashed near Calcutta in a violent storm shortly after takeoff. Private Plane Crashes Near Lock Haven Killing Five
A small private plane clipped the top of a barn after takeoff Saturday in Lock Haven Pennsylvania and burst into flames. The pilot Richard Smart 31 a guard at Rockview Penitentiary perished along with four others including two children Barry three and Kim 18 months. Mrs and Mr Donald Larimer also died both prison guards.
