Montana officials fear cuts in federal water program
O S Warden of Great Falls Montana, president of the National Reclamation Association, warned in Washington that economy moves may cut federal water program allotments from about 60 million to 40 million dollars next year. He discussed 11 Montana projects built or under way and urged preserving federal funds to complete six more projects including Sidney pumping, Little Missouri, Columbus, Nevada creek, upper Musselshell and West Fork Bitter Root.

Farmer and hired man slain by axe on Colorado farm
