Federal raid nets arrest of William Anderson on liquor charge
Federal prohibition officers raided a 410 South Main street soft drink shop yesterday, arresting William Anderson. He was presented before U. S. Commissioner George Howard and arraigned on possession of intoxicating liquors, bonds set at 250 dollars. Seized liquor was destroyed and bar fixtures and furnishings moved to storage with Jones Transfer and Storage.

Suit Began Over Unpaid Bill of Goods in District Court

Pop order cancelled over umpire choice at picnic game
An order for soda pop for the Shiner Furniture store annual picnic at Pipestone Springs was cancelled after Lou Frank was named umpire.
