Copter Crash Near Lewistown Injures 12 Crewmembers
An Air Force helicopter crashed near a central Montana Minuteman Missile launch site ten miles north of Lewistown. Four crew members and eight passengers were treated for injuries at Lewistown Hospital and the Malmstrom AFB radar station. An Air Force spokesman said loss of power on takeoff caused the craft to strike a radio antenna. A rancher reported proximity to the crash and witnesses described a brief explosion after impact.

Hamilton Trucker Killed in Crash
A truck plunged off a rural road near Hamilton killing driver Chancy C Ralls Sr. 53 of Hamilton. Patrolman John Driscoll said seat belts would have saved his life as Ralls was thrown from the truck which rolled over him. It was Ravalli County's second fatality this year raising Montana's total to 64. On this date last year the toll was 83.

Navy Bombers Hit Viet Cong Arms Depots Near Da Nang
U S Navy planes attacked Viet Nam targets near Da Nang and in Kien Hoa Province Friday.
