Lambert Woman Dies in Wreck on Montana Highway 16

In Montana 28 miles north west of Sidney on Highway 16 a coupe overturned in a harrow at 2 a.m. Sunday killing Mrs. Andrew Tassass of Lambert, 41, who died before help arrived. Mrs. Hilda Peters on of Fairview, about 50, suffered shock. Pete Gossline of Sidney was uninjured. Coroner Jerry Cloyd will hold an inquest Tuesday night.

Breadless Monday hit San Francisco unions strike waves

San Francisco faced a breadless Monday as 95 percent of bakery supplies were cut off by a Bakers union strike. The AFL Bakers union struck Crowheat Baking at 9 30 p m Saturday and three other large bakeries followed, shutting down in protest.

County Grand Jury to Probe KC Gambling Ring That Ran 34 Million

An Air Force B-25 bomber struck a tree near Lebanon Illinois on a Sunday, ignited two houses, and killed six men aboard. Rocking chair draws crowds in Muscatine Iowa sale bid

Floyd and Mrs Holladay in Muscatine say they will sell their self rocking chair if the price is right. Hundreds from eastern Iowa visited their six room home to see the chair rock without assistance.
