Explosion damages Butte area injures two men at frame building
An acetylene torch mishap caused a blast at 404 South Wyoming street demolishing the Standard Carriage Works and injuring Herbert Lane 32 of 2131 Wall street and John Severich 1126 Maryland avenue. Lane suffered severe facial arm and leg cuts while Severich received neck and hand injuries. Police and fire crews freed the men as the blast blew out windows and toppled timbers.
