William Keane 22 of Butte was sentenced to 12 years in prison for the March 7 robbery of Helena Hardware. He admitted robberies in Helena Geyser and Stanford, pleaded guilty before District Judge A. J. Horsky, and waived sentence delay.

Galen Patient Rushed to City for Operation
Early yesterday William Redding a patient at the Galen state sanitarium was stricken with acute appendicitis. With no operative facilities at Galen a call was made to Don B. King chairman of the county commissioners. He arranged use of the county hospital operating room in Butte. By 4 pm Dr. J L McCarthy county physician had performed the operation and the patient rested easily.

Funeral Rites Held for Charles Lane at Sacred Heart
The funeral for Charles Lane was held yesterday morning with a high mass at Sacred Heart Church officiated by Rev. Father H. J. Delaney. Burial followed at Holy Cross Cemetery with last rites by Rev. Father W. P. Joyce. Pallbearers were Ed Holland, Thomas O'Neill, Maurice Condon, William Cocklen, John Brett and Frank Holland. Tunis iron ore exports are declining.

Accident victim receives draft from Montana Standard
Mrs. Mary Kraker, widow of a man killed in an automobile crash, received a Montana Standard accident insurance draft for 150 dollars for injuries from the same accident.
