Buddhist march in Hue demands Ky regime ouster and reform

About 20 000 Buddhist demonstrators march four miles from Dieu Pagoda to Tu Dam Pagoda in Hue protesting Premier Ky military rule. They accuse the United States of thwarting civilian rule and honor slain student Miss Quach Thi Trang, with banners calling for constitutional parliament and Congress.

Burglary at Downey Drug Store Nets Cash and Drugs

Burglars entered through a roof hole at Downey Drug Store on Harrison Avenue after 9 30 Saturday night and fled by back door. About 100 in cash and a large amount of various drugs were stolen along with wallets, watches, radios, and other merchandise. Separate J C Penney break in yielded 11 watches and 22 rings. Police say the incidents are not connected and investigations continue.

Beaverhead County Pioneer Passes at 99

Beaverhead County resident since 1888 Mrs. Charlotte J. Farley died Sunday at her daughter's home in Dillon after two years of poor health. She was six weeks from her 100th birthday. Funeral services are pending at Brundage Funeral Home.
