Joseph Hartman aged 63 dies at St Peter hospital in Helena after month long illness. Born February 23 1886 in Germany, he migrated to the United States in 1902 and lived in Great Falls mining before returning to Germany in 1924 where he married. He and his family later moved to Clanay then Alhambon before relocating to Helena in 1945. Survived by widow three daughters a granddaughter a sister a brother and several nieces and nephews. Funeral at Opp-Conrad-Retz chapel at 3 39 this afternoon with burial in Forestvale cemetery under Rev Emil Ziegler.
