Harry Polglase 57 a prominent Butte resident and member of the Butte Pioneers club died at a local hospital from second degree burns suffered March 8 when gasoline exploded while he tried to start a fire at 506 East Mercury street. He was a public accountant and engaged in welfare work at East Side Neighborhood House. Three Die In Butte Dillon Highway Crash
Fatalities from a head on collision on the Butte Dillon highway rose to three with the death of O W Miller 52 of Minneapolis. His partner Pat Walsh 55 was killed at the scene and Sheriff W C Orr 61 of Dillon died 30 hours later. Miller's body will be sent to Grove City Minnesota. Mrs Miller arrived from Minneapolis and was at her husband’s side. An inquest was planned for Walsh and Orr deaths but Miller’s death alters the proceedings.
