Billings Boy Drowns In Family's Pool
Russel Hart II, 6, of Billings was found dead in the family pool Saturday afternoon. Coroner Mel Boice said the boy apparently slipped into the pool while dressed in heavy clothes. He entered from the house and was a capable swimmer. The Hart family’s father, a local businessman, was cited Friday by the Montana Education Association for a top service to education award.

Injured Butte Boxer Taken To Missoula
MISSOULA AP A Butte youth Billy Murray sixteen suffered a brain injury in a Friday bout and was described in very poor condition in a Missoula hospital Saturday night. He was taken by ambulance to Missoula for brain surgery Saturday evening and has been unconscious since the fight. The operation aimed to relieve pressure on his seriously damaged brain and physicians could not say if he would regain consciousness.
