Michael Tracy 18 of 2601 Princeton was airlifted to Silver Bow General Hospital in critical condition after a one car crash on the southern outskirts of Butte. Franklin Smith 19 of 437 N. Arizona was admitted in nonserious condition as investigators ponder why Tracy lay unattended for 3 to 4 hours after the car left Harrison Avenue and plunged into a sand pit.
