Helena Woman Killed When Pinned Beneath Automobile
A 58 year old Helena woman Miss Ann O'Donnell died when her car overturned on the Butte Deer Lodge highway two miles south of Warm Springs. Her sister Miss Mary F O'Donnell of Sheridan Wyoming survived with concussion and other injuries. The collision occurred as the O'Donnell car attempted to pass another vehicle while that car was also passing. The car traveled about 226 feet before stopping after overturning and pinning Miss O'Donnell. Investigators from Montana Highway Patrol Coroner and sheriff departments are handling the case. Miss O'Donnell's body was placed in Finnegan Co Funeral Home. She was the 31st traffic fatality in the state this year.

Body of Child Found in Gully near Kansas City
A blanket wrapped, roughly four to six year old girl was found under rocks in a gully near Kansas City. Deputy Coroner Soutter said the girl had likely been dead about 30 days and autopsy is needed for cause of death. The child stood about three feet tall, weighed around 50 pounds, and wore a yellow striped shirt, brown trousers and brown shoes. No missing child match was reported in the area. A stone collector found the body wrapped in a sheet and a chenille bedspread.

Five Die As Car Plunges Into Canal In Florida
In Dade county Florida five people drowned when a Miami-based car plunged into an 18 foot canal near Florida City on Saturday. Driver James Brown escaped briefly before drowning. Victims identified as Janie Williamson, her daughter Geneva 11, Mary Lou Scott 12, Alex Lee Scott 10, and Brown’s car companion. An eyewitness reported the car sped past, skidded and nosed into the canal beside the road.
