Former Butte Man Found Dead in River Car
A car with a body was found in the St. Regis River 35 miles west of Superior. The victim was identified via papers as Harold A. Ball, 60, of Portland, Ore., formerly of Butte. Officials believe the car plunged from the road sometime Wednesday or Thursday morning, with death by drowning. The 1960 model car was partly visible from the highway.

First Plans Made For Rodeo Fourth Celebration

Assault Case Filed After Walkerville Man Gives Up Gun
