Butte official lauds tax deputy’s hard work
Jack Thomas, hired as a special deputy sheriff to collect delinquent Silver Bow County personal property taxes, has brought about 18000 dollars into county coffers since March 2. He has collected about 9000 dollars for 1966 and additional sums dating to 1963. Proceeds go to county funds, not Metro Sewer or garbage districts.
