The Butte Silver Bow Anti Poverty Council will receive 119 589 dollars in federal grants for a 12 month period beginning April 1. The funds were announced in Washington by Senators Mansfield Metcalf and Olsen and released by the Office of Economic Opportunity. Frank Gersh said the grant matches expectations and will support programs for Butte’s low income residents. The grant includes 93 281 dollars in new funds.
