The Butte City Council canvassed municipal primary returns on Tuesday. Vic Rauh Republican gained two votes raising total to 97 while Tom Powers Democrat led with 4 610 and Jim Bertogli o 2 624. Powers carried all 16 precincts with a mayoral margin over 5 to 3. The canvass committee included Armstrong Evankovich Paull Schulte Lee and Mehrens.
