39 Bodies Recovered Near Gaza Israel Border
Egyptians reported 39 Gaza residents were dug from a pit near the Gaza Israeli border. The civilians were said to have been rounded up by Israeli soldiers on November 10 and later killed. A car carrying eight young people left U S Highway 59 north of Mahnomen and plunged into a water-filled ditch. A 34 500 volt power line was pulled down, electrocuting five victims including three would be rescuers and two others in the wrecked car. Six survivors were hospitalized for shock and minor injuries.

Libby Driver Killed In Two Car Crash
Russell Owens 41 a Libby mill worker was killed when his car collided with another on U S Highway 2 as he turned off the highway. Robert Lee Weitzel 38 Libby escaped injury. Mrs Owens witnessed the crash and found her husband dead. The sheriff opened an investigation and no charges were filed by midday. This was Montana’s 29th highway death this year.

Women Rescued From City Hall Fire in Chicago
A fire swept lower City Hall in Chicago trapping several women before firefighters rescued them. No serious injuries reported. Damage estimated at 200000.
