Western AAA Director Dies at Parley in Washington
C. Conser, 64, director of the western division of the Agricultural Adjustment Administration, died in Washington after collapsing at a staff meeting. A farmer and stockman from Montana since 1910, he joined AAA at its start in 1933 and was named western division head last December. He was born in Sand Spring Iowa and trained at the University of Minnesota, leaving behind two sisters.
