Edward J. Ryan former worthy grand president of the Fraternal Order of Eagles will address listeners tonight on KGIR at 9 30 PM. He spoke in Anaconda and Missoula this week and plans to depart Butte Tuesday for Milwaukee and Wisconsin, with National President Charles Chenu delivering the Monday address at the Eagles club in Lewisohn block.

Sewell Davis a former Butte resident died in Newark New Jersey. He once worked with Bennett Brothers and later ran a wholesale coal business in Butte. He moved East years ago and his body will be brought back for burial next week. Surviving relatives include his wife a brother Carl Davis and a brother in law William Sutter both of Butte and a brother Alfred Davis of Oakland California.

Taxi driver James Loiselle injured in street collision
James Loiselle a 19 year old taxi driver of 1367 Harrison avenue was seriously hurt when a Berkshire apartments car driven by William Stroud skidded and pinned him between two autos near the New Finlen hotel after 9 am. He suffered a fractured vertebrae and other injuries and was taken to Murray hospital where he rested easily by late night.

Nine Week Teaching Class Starts Monday at Butte High

Railroad Conductor Injured Slipping From Freight Train
Frank Shoemaker, a railroad conductor from Pocatello, was severely injured late Thursday night in the Butte yards when his right arm became entangled in a train wheel while slipping from a moving freight car. He was rushed to St James hospital for treatment, where an emergency blood transfusion was given and doctors hope the arm can be saved as he rests.
