Butte Silver Bow election field shapes up in 2024
Butte Silver Bow faces a busy 2024 election as six county-wide posts head into the cycle with few challengers. Incumbent commissioners face minimal opposition except for one, while Sheriff Ed Lester ran unopposed in 2020 and may not repeat. Filing closed March 11 with Mike Gage entering, and multiple seats see new names. County offices stay nonpartisan and the primary will trim four aspiring candidates for district judge and other posts.
