Two Children Die in Queens Traffic Crash
A bus and a car collided in Queens sending debris and a light pole into a sidewalk area near a deli and candy store. Two children, Robert aged 1 and Irene aged 4, were killed. Their mother Mrs. Freda Dallas, 38, and three other pedestrians, including one seriously hurt, were injured. Police identified the car driver as John De Angelis, 24, of Brooklyn.
