City aims for state and federal aid on two streets
City council passed two resolutions to obtain state and federal aid for construction and maintenance. One asks the Montana State highway commission and the federal bureau of public roads to include North Main to the Butte north city limits in the secondary road from Walkerville to Centerville. The other seeks re routing of U S highway 10 from Holmes and Rowe to Harrison Front and Montana Park, making it eligible for state and federal maintenance.
