Bozeman Man Edward Hagl Killed in Vietnam Action
Bozeman boatswain mate first class Edward J. Hagl was killed March 14 near the demilitarized zone on the Son Thach Han River in Quan Tri Province. A 164 year Navy veteran, Hagl had left for Vietnam on November 30, 1967 and is survived by a widow and three children. Funeral arrangements are pending in Bozeman.
