Hammer Slayer Seeks Return of Artificial Leg

Los Angeles AP report: convict Joe Morgan who helped 11 inmates escape from Los Angeles County jail asks Superior Court to return his artificial leg. Deputies removed the limb after recapture following the February 24 break. Morgan, 32, is linked to concealing tools in the leg and has escaped custody before. A hearing is slated for Wednesday.
