BILLINGS March 18. The town of Custer, about 60 miles east on the Yellowstone river, will soon be without drinking water and water for fire protection within a few hours, according to Yellowstone County Sheriff Albert Thomas. He said this after returning from the flood area caused by ice jams on the Yellowstone Tuesday night.
