Billings Votes For One Year Daylight Saving Trial
Billings city council approved a one year daylight saving time trial by a 6-4 vote and will place the issue on the ballot after the period. DST would start at 3 a.m. May 0 and end 3 a.m. Labor Day when the trial concludes. Farmers and theater owners opposed the plan amid months of indecision. After the 1964 trial a municipal election ballot will also include a fluoridation proposal.
