Ruling Appeals From Lower Bench on Public Utility Case

Washington March 16 news items reveal one New Deal case appealing lower bench rulings on a public utility holding company. Arm Injure in Wringer Splits Beatrice Case Arm

Beatrice Case a six year old of 518 Shields Avenue fractured her elbow yesterday when her arm was caught in a washing machine wringer. Her mother, Mrs Charles Case, heard her screams and rushed to help. The child was taken to Murray Hospital where doctors reported the elbow fracture and said the patient was doing as well as could be expected last night. The incident occurred while the mother was hanging out the laundry.

March 16 special report from Dillon says Frank Triplet and Robert McDaniels, injured in a bunkhouse affray on the BE 5B road near Rock Friday night, were reported by Barrett hospital attendants to be out of danger. Triplet allegedly stabbed McDaniels who then attacked Triplet with fists.

Culver Funeral Service Scheduled For Local Resident

The funeral of Mrs. Ilan E. 3 H. Culver, longtime Banverhead County resident, will be held today at 2 30 PM from Bryndage Funeral Home chapel. The Rev H W Treglch of St James Episcopal will officiate and interment will follow at Mountain View cemetery.

Supreme Court Denies Appeal and Bond Sale Progress

Miss Margarete Lary, clerk, Fred Taylor, and Attorney Hanley traveled to Heleng after the denial. They conferred with J. M. Brandford, state land board secretary, on school trustees resolutions and bonds to be printed. Trustees previously accepted a bid from the land board for a 20 year bond issue at a low interest rate, clearing the way for early construction.
