Maude Walker age 86 widow of early Butte lawyer Thomas J. Walker died Sunday in a local hospital. She lived at 58 West Quartz Street. Her husband served on the United States Customs Court in New York City until his death in 1945 after Roosevelt appointed him in 1940.

Best Ever Tournament Behavior Noted In State Big 30
The 1964 state Big 30 basketball tournament in Butte was praised as the quietest in history.
