The Butte Montana Silver Bow club hosted an Irish banquet honoring St Patrick. Miss Catherine Harrington gave the principal address after learning Miss Janette McDevitt of San Francisco could not attend. A large crowd enjoyed songs and recitations alongside a full menu.
The Friendly Sons of St Patrick held their annual banquet at New Finlen in Butte with a large diverse crowd from the Butte Anaconda area. Attendees enjoyed patriotic songs and Irish tunes, heard speeches on Irish heritage, and praised the event’s entertainment and menu.

In St Helens Oregon on March 15, Tommy White aged 7 was killed when an automobile driven by Mrs P B Merrys struck him as several children played in the street. Witnesses said he ran into the path of the car and the coroner ruled the accident unavoidable.
Gordon Rexroth a 19 year old youth was arrested in Roundup after stepping off a freight train en route to Butte. He was questioned by Butte Chief Murphy and Deputy Henry Levinski as authorities probe the murder of Mrs Christina Wilson. Rexroth denied saying he knew all about the Butte murder and was taken into custody by Sheriff Popovich before being handed to Butte officers.
