Andrew J. Steele died in East Helena on a Sunday after moving from Long Beach California seven months earlier to live with a daughter. He was born September 26 1871 in Gloversville New York and had lived in Long Beach twenty years prior to his move. Catherine Shovlin of 418 Virginia died Sunday at the family home after a brief illness. A native of Butte she lived in the mining city all her life. She is survived by her mother Rose Shovlin three brothers and two sisters in law Frank Dan William Shovlin and L J Shimmin and Henry Johnson all of Butte and T Y Riley of San Francisco.
