Two Men Sentenced to Prison at Deer Lodge
Thomas Finnegan and Arnold Kittala were sent to the state penitentiary at Deer Lodge after pleading guilty to burglarizing the Independent Shoe Repair shop in Butte. Finnegan received 18 months while Kittala drew one year. about $200 in goods were stolen, most of which were recovered. Police officers Powell and Beadle made the arrest and Judge Downey cautioned them against returning to court.
