Seventh Baby Dies In Salted Formula Tragedy At Hospital
In Binghamton New York a seventh infant died and four more remain critical after a nurse used salt instead of sugar in hospital formula. About 15 babies were under observation as the Health Department sent a research team to probe the deaths. The nurse, 29 year old Lillie Mae Colvin, denied wrongdoing and claimed she did nothing wrong. She was suspended while authorities investigate.

Butte Man Charged After Teenage Beer Bust
Risto Kurilich a 40 year old tavern operator in Butte was charged with contributing to the delinquency of 30 minors under 18. He appeared before Justice J. J. Winston with bond set at 1000 dollars as officers raided his home to find beer and evidence of underage drinking.
