Thomas A. Fitzpatrick, 40, a Brown's Gulch dairyman, was wounded Monday when a rifle he carried discharged as he slipped on ice. He crawled to a nearby barn and died late yesterday at St James hospital from a face wound. He was found hours later by a neighbor drawn by barking.

Butte Boy Scouts to Build Four New Cabins at Camp
The ex council of Silver Bow Boy Scouts met at the courthouse last night to discuss the annual campaign drive funds for the year and plans to construct four new cabins at the Scout camp this summer. Two full time assistants will be employed at the camp and an area committee meeting will select a paid field director.
