Funeral details for Eva F. Ireland Ann Mudro Henry Martin Rom and Violet Harrington list Mass times at St Joseph St Ann and Holy Cross Cemeteries. Rosaries set for Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Names include S N P J lodge member and several relatives from California and Minnesota.
Funeral services for James A. Murray will be conducted from Dolan’s Mortuary on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. with a Requiem High Mass at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church. Interment follows at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family extends thanks to the Diocese clergy, Sisters and Christian Brothers, neighbors and friends for sympathy and floral tributes.
The Supreme Court ruled five to three that convicted spies and extortionists may inspect their bugging records to determine if they were victims of illegal eavesdropping. The decision overrode Justice Department advice and could force the government to drop some prosecutions to protect national security secrets.

Logan, 62, jailed at Deer Lodge state prison to serve a 10 year sentence with five suspended after being convicted of voluntary manslaughter in the Moose Bar shooting of Henry A. Hoerster Jr., 23, in Dillon on July 22, 1968. A jury found him guilty after a 10 day trial. appeal for a new trial was denied.
Services for Bozeman businessman Roscoe R Hull will be held at 2 30 this afternoon in the Dahl Vial Chapel with burial at Sunset Hills Cemetery He died Sunday at Bozeman Deaconess Hospital born March 18 1894 in New Albany Kansas He moved to Bozeman as a child and served in the Army Air Corps in 1917 Hull purchased the Auto Electric Station in 1920 later wife Viola Fowler whom he wed October 9 1920 at Butte Survivors include his wife and several nieces
The remains of Le Roy F. Held who died Sunday in Cheyenne Wyoming will arrive at Scott Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon. Funeral services are scheduled Friday at 10 45 AM at St Teresa Church with Requiem Mass at 11 00 AM Rev Thomas Gannon celebrant. Rosary will be recited Thursday at 8 PM at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Whitehall Cemetery.
Blanche I. Brown widow of W A Brown longtime Idahoan died Sunday at her son and daughter in law Max Brown in Lancaster California while visiting. Services Friday at 2 at Parson Fischer Funeral Chapel officiated by Rev James Bell burial Sunset Memorial Gardens. She was born July 14 1900 in Iowa and came to Idaho with her family as a child. Surviving are son William F Brown daughter Mrs Stanley Larivee and six grandchildren. A driver education course for adults begins Monday March 17 at 7 in room 115 of the vo tech center.
Funeral services for Waive K Poese were held in Wilson Funeral Chapel with Rev Ervin Rymes presiding. Born March 21 1895 in Star City Indiana she taught at Hall Augusta Libby Philipsburg and was Granite County superintendent of Schools 1947 until her death. Survivors include Knarr siblings a foster son Cmdr Bernard J O Rourke and others.
Requiem Mass for LeRoy Francis Bus Held 55 of Whitehall will be at 11 Thursday at St Teresa Church. Burial follows in Whitehall Cemetery. Rosary Thursday at 8 in Scott Funeral Home. A Waterloo native born July 3 1913 he was a World War II veteran and VFW member. Survivors include wife Ethel a son Thomas and several brothers and sisters listed.
Mrs. Violet Harrington a Butte native died Sunday in San Diego services will be here. New arrivals include a daughter born Monday at St James Community Hospital to the Kriewalds of 102 N Henry and a son to the Limb family of 1930 Dewey. Marriage applications list Ronald Baker with Mary Colleen Coles James Dunks with Shirley Baszler. Angie Carkulis files for divorce from Gus Carkulis.
Requiem Mass for Violet Harrington a Butte native who died Sunday in San Diego will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m. at St Ann Church. Burial follows at St Patrick Cemetery. A rosary is set for 7 p.m. Thursday at Duggan Merrill Mortuary. Former president of the Nurses Association of California she lived and practiced as a nurse in California for 35 years. Survivors include her son Richard Satterthwaite in San Diego sisters Lillah Harrington and Mrs Helen Weber both of Butte and three grandsons.

Firemen answered a false alarm at Anaconda Road and Copper at 3 47 p m Monday and another alarm at the Dorothy Block at 12 37 p m Sunday due to an overheated stove causing no damage. A car owned by Mr and Mrs John L Brown of 2000 Garrison had a steering wheel and two front tires removed Wednesday or Thursday, leaving the rest of the vehicle in place on the Browns' street curb.
