SMINLNOE Mo March 7 A seventeen year old girl Betty Jane Kroeger admitted murdering her parents after a domestic argument last week. She said she shot her mother during a Tuesday night quarrel then killed her sleeping father in his Eminence store. Police report the father feared exposure of the first shooting. The bodies of Fred Kroeger and Minnie Kroeger were found Saturday night after a store robbery wave and the girl drove away with her father’s car before wrecking it on the return trip.

Escape of 21 Felons From Georgia Work Camp
Twenty one convicts escaped from a county work camp near Atlanta Georgia on Sunday nine were recaptured within three hours as a manhunt spread across the area.
