KEY WEST Fla March 6 The Navy reports the 2850 ton motorship Lief torpedoed somewhere in the Atlantic with 15 crewmen believed lost Ten seamen described a 53 hour struggle against a gale after rescue in two lifeboats The 25 aboard included one American Martin J Stewart who survived and was in the port boat as missing crew.
