Montana Legislature Near Adjournment Toll Rises In Holiday Run
Five people died in Montana over a five day traffic death holiday bringing the toll to 39 this year. Victims include Glen Berg 34 of Ryegate Bob Fuchs 31 of Shawmut Walter Wrzesinski 50 of Ryegate who died when their car collided with a Milwaukee passenger train in Ryegate Sunday. Robert J Gillis 43 a Great Falls radio employee was killed in a two car crash on U S 87 bypass two miles north of Fort Benton. Mrs Lee Shephard 27 of Missoula also died. Gillis a former Missoula radio manager appeared to pass another car and skid into an oncoming vehicle carrying two teens who were hospitalized at Fort Benton.
