Jack M. Nemeck, longtime Montana auto dealer and early Dillon trader, died Saturday after illness. A Joliet native, he came to Butte in 1923 with early aviation ties, once greeting Lindbergh, and helped form early Montana auto ventures with Fred Woodside and Roy Murray.

Nutter Signs Bill to Tax Co-ops in Montana

Storm Hits Chicago injuring dozens in South Side

Albany man charged in Oregon bank robbery case
Clyde Thomas Goucher, 21, Albany Oregon, appeared before U S Commissioner David L Holland on a federal bank robbery charge. He requested a preliminary hearing to be held Thursday at 2 p m. Bond set at 5000 was not posted and he remained jailed. Sheriff William Dalling said the pair robbed a Shedd Oregon bank Thursday afternoon taking about 20000. Marvin V Clark, 23, also of Albany, was arrested in Oregon and about 19000 recovered.
