PARCHMAN, Miss. Allen Donaldson died in Mississippi's gas chamber at 2 10 p m for a 5 cent robbery. He sang a spiritual as the lethal gas hit him. The 28 year old Negro walked into the death room as the chamber's second victim in two days. Donaldson, arrested the same day, robbed Mrs Estelle Foster of Hattiesburg on Jan 5 1954, beating her with a hammer and taking a purse containing one nickel. Armed robbery is punishable by death in Mississippi. Mrs Foster survived after weeks in hospital.
