Asphalt cleanup to extend downstream on Yellowstone River
Montana officials say asphalt pollution from the 2023 Reed Point derailment will be chased downstream beyond 136 miles as cleanup teams search for asphalt along the Yellowstone River this spring. Larry Alheim of the Department of Environmental Quality cited ongoing Unified Command briefings.
