Apollo 9 set to lift off from Cape Kennedy after delays
CAPE KENNEDY. The Apollo 9 mission with astronauts McDivitt Scott and Schweickart is ready for launch at 11 a.m. after colds delayed the start. The Saturn V rocket with the lunar module and command ship will test all lunar landing components in Earth orbit during a 10 day flight. Officials call it highly complex with a $340 million cost and a goal of validating future moon landings.

Snowmobilers Injured In Montana Mountain Crash
Three Butte snowmobilers were seriously injured Sunday when their machine hit a trailer on a mountain road near Denton Georgetown Lake. All three remain in fair condition at Silver Bow General Hospital with cuts and possible broken bones. Injured are Karen Lubick 25 Robert 36 of 1941 Locust and Mrs Dan Torp 2335 Princeton. Torp was ejected and escaped injury. The party was transported from Anaconda to Butte after the crash.

Rockets Hit Saigon as Offensive Presses City Edges
