In Agadir rescue teams hunted survivors as mass burials began after a devastating earthquake. Lou Howard 81 longtime organizer of MSU and MSC bands died Tuesday night in a Bozeman hospital after brief illness. He formed MSU first band in 1905 and MSC band in 1907. Survived by wife Maybelle and daughters Dawn Bodley and Loren Marshall. Funeral Thursday at Bozeman Episcopal church.

Taxi driver kills wife and lawyer then shoots self
In San Francisco a taxi driver named Jeremiah Cozzens, 59, opened fire in a City Hall corridor injuring his wife Winifred, 35, and attorney John Lockley, 47, before apparently shooting himself. He died later from a self inflicted head wound. Police say the attack occurred as the wife and Lockley returned to a Superior Court room for a domestic dispute hearing before Judge Norman Elkington.
